What is CH Unplugged?
CH Unplugged is my solo live act. I’m Craig, a singer and guitarist based in Doncaster, and the setup combines acoustic guitar, vocals and live looping to build familiar songs in the moment.
What kind of music do you play?
I play acoustic covers from the 50s to now, with a focus on familiar songs people know and can sing along to. Some stay stripped back, while others grow into fuller live-looped arrangements.
What kinds of events can I book CH Unplugged for?
CH Unplugged works well for pubs and bars, parties and celebrations, weddings, private events and live music venues. The set can sit comfortably in the background early on or become more of a singalong as the room gets going.
What areas do you cover?
I’m based in Doncaster and perform across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. If you have a venue or event in mind, send over the location with your enquiry and we can talk through the details.
How does the live looping work?
The loop pedal lets me record and layer parts as I perform. A song might begin with acoustic guitar, then gain rhythm and extra layers before the vocal and chorus build on top. The arrangement is created live rather than simply playing the same fixed version every time.
Can the set suit a quieter pub or a livelier event?
Yes. I adjust the pace, dynamics and volume to suit the room. That can mean a relaxed acoustic feel while people chat, or more lift and energy when everyone is ready to join in.
Can I see CH Unplugged live before booking?
Yes. Public upcoming shows appear in the dates section of the main site whenever there are dates in the diary. I also post updates on Facebook.
How do I book CH Unplugged?
Use the online booking enquiry form to send me your date, venue and a little about the occasion. I’ll get back to you about availability and a quote. Prefer email? You can still write to info@chunplugged.co.uk. Your date is only confirmed once we’ve agreed everything.
